9 Days Later

I've been M.I.A for 9 Days! Who missed me!? My laptop was broken, thanks to my son, but now it's fixed and I'm back! I don't have much to blog about right now but I will later on...Stay Tuned!

Bestfriend Text Messages

I decided to text my sister/BFF tonight and as usual we talked about everything. She always knows what to say, but tonight she blew me away...I couldn't help but to cry. 

"You're a great person with a wonderful heart. You're really one in a million. You've been here for me through my toughest days and you're the reason I smile on my brightest days. I want you to spend more time making yourself happy, stop searching for ways to make others happy. You always say you go above and beyond for the ones you love - so do me a favor - let someone go above and beyond for you. You need to receive the same type of love you give everyone else. You deserve the world, don't ever settle for less."

...This is exactly what I needed to hear tonight.

Random Midnight Thoughts. . .

Being in a relationship is not a walk in the park, but it's not that complicated either. Communication, respect, loyalty, and honesty is all you need to be in a healthy relationship. Arguments will occur in a relationship, it's natural, but with communication anything can be worked out. Being in a relationship requires two people to have respect for each other. If you ever do anything that hurts your significant other, even if you don't understand why your actions has hurt him/her, accept that your actions has hurt him/her and change. We can't always understand why someone feels a certain way about things, but we can respect our partner's feelings and avoid hurting him/her again in the future. Loyalty and honesty has always played a big role in my life. If a person can't be loyal and honest there's no point in that person being in a relationship. 

Being in love is an amazing feeling. If we stop abusing the word and learn it's true meaning, there would be more sucessful relationships. Like I always say, love is not complicated...we just make it that way! 

Goodbye Exes

I'm not trying to be the one my exes remember. I could careless if I'm viewed as the "one that got away". I don't care to keep a connection w| anyone that was a part of past, because that's exactly what they are, "my past". When you're happy in your current relationship, the bs that happened during your past relationship is irrelevant. I've forgiven those that have done me wrong; why hold a grudge? I don't want to talk about what happened between us or how things could have been different, because we cannot rewrite the past, we can only accept it and move on...& that's exactly what I've done, moved on! Goodbye exes.

Dare To Be Different

If there's one thing I hate it's people that claim to be something that they're not! Why is it so easy to be a follower but so hard to be a leader. I listen to people say they're different, they don't want to be the same as the people they surround themselves with, but they end up doing the same things. I guess it's easier to be an imitation for some, but I live to be different.

Dare to be different! We don't have to walk down the same path as others to be accepted! If you can't be accepted by the ones you surround yourself w| for walking down your own path, then it's time to find some new friends.

Is It Just Me?

I've always been a very private person; if something is bothering me you won't know unless I tell you. I have close friends that don't really know much about my life, because there are things I rather not share about myself w| the whole world. If I tell you anything about my personal life that means I trust you; I trust that you won't tell my business or judge me. 

Even though I'm a very private person I can never keep quiet about my love life! I will never tell anyone anything too personal, but when I'm in love I always quote love quotes & show the world how much I love the person I'm with. If I could shout on top of a building "I love this man" I would! Lol. I won't put my love on public display 24/7, but when you're in love you're in love and it's hard to keep that part of your life completely private when you're truly in love with someone, especially when you've been in bad relationships in the past.

Is it just me or do you sometimes express your love the same way? 

Dear Ex

From time to time you cross my mind and a few questions arise. Like why you couldn't love me the way I needed you to when I gave you every reason, do you regret the things you did, and do you ever think of me? I admit everything wasn’t all bad there were some good memories, thats why I didn’t mourn the relationship but instead I mourned the possibilities. Well time has passed and life goes on with you or without but I want you to know you were a lesson learned and I thank you without a doubt because if you werent so blind to what was in front of you I would’ve settled instead of reaching my full potential.

I now understand that I am worth much more than you could’ve ever given me, I know for a fact that time heals all wounds and God has something unimaginable in store for me. I dont hate you because that would stunt my blessings. I just pray you love the next woman without hesitation or restriction just unconditionally. I hope I taught you a valuable lesson as well whether it was the importance of honesty or never taking anything in this life for granted.

Well I just wanted you to know that I’m doing so much better without you, not to be evil but to relay a message of hope for when life gets you down. You werent meant to have a permanent place in my heart but instead to play your part in this movie called Life and thats fine with me as it should be with you.

Man Down

"Man Down" is the name of the 7th track on Rihanna's album "Loud". Man Down was not one of my favorite tracks but of course I was excited that she created a video for it. Not only was I excited, I was shocked! Listening to Man Down automatically made me think how could she make a video for this song? What would this video represent?

Now that I saw the video I love the song! Rihanna's video loudly represents rape. I think it was a good idea that she used her song to help give rape victims a voice, but I don't agree with her shooting the man that raped her in the video, I think it sends a bad message. What do you think?

June!

After I finished posting "Birthday Blues" I realized today is the first day of June! Can someone please tell me where May went!? Time really does not wait on anyone! I hope everyone enjoyed the blessings of May, hopefully June will bring us many more!

Birthday Blues

For the past week everyone has been asking me the same question, "how was your birthday?" To be honest with you I'm getting tired of answering this question. I know I shouldn't get aggravated they're just asking a question, but because my 21st was not what I expected it to be I don't want to talk about it!

I think turning 21 turned me into a bitter person lol. I feel like I always go above and beyond to make the ones I love happy but no one (well two people did) was willing to do the same thing for me. To be honest my feelings were hurt that only two people went out their way to try to make my birthday special. I hope I don't sound like a spoiled brat lol, I just wanted the same treatment I give everyone else "/

Even though my birthday sucked, I got to see another day! That's the greatest gift I received! So far no birthday has topped my 19th birthday, hopefully next year will!
